School Garden help tomorrow!

Tomorrow from 12 - 2 p.m. Gina will be working at the Nellie Muir School Garden. It will be warm but there is some shade. Please bring water and dress accordingly. Happy gardening!

Weed and Feed Monday's!!!

Just a friendly reminder that every Monday at the Presbyterian Church Community Garden at 8 A.M. they will be harvesting and weeding.

Volunteer Opportunities!!

Here is a message from one of our lovely garden coordinators...

"Hi - This is Laura from the Presbyterian Church. We are going to start doing a group harvest of our Food Bank Garden on Monday mornings at 8:00 a.m. Anybody and everybody interested in picking a few veggies is welcome to just show up each Monday. The garden is going gangbusters, and is becoming too much for the few that are harvesting now. The garden is at 950 Boones Ferry Rd. (Woodburn) Thanks!"

Nellie Muir work party Saturday!

This is a reminder that there will be a Nellie Muir School Garden work party this Saturday. Gina the garden coordinator will be there from 1 - 4 at Nellie Muir School.

Bring water, gloves and appropriate work clothes.

Last Saturday at Radio Movimiento!

Thanks to all the support and volunteers that helped clean-up the Radio Movimiento community garden. It is looking a ton better and ready for a healthy spring planting! Plans are in the works to push the permaculture garden boundaries on this garden. One step at a time, many hands working side-by-side and volunteer enthusiasm and love will make this garden a spectacular project! La huerta comunitaria vive! Comida para tod@s!
